In Monday's non-league bout, the Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Singer Hornets (Singer, LA), by a tally of 11-0.
Next up, the Hornets encounter the East Beauregard Trojans (DeRidder, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 20. Grand Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 2-8 record after their 10-1 league loss to Vinton (Vinton, LA).
The Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 14-6 record. In their last bout, Elizabeth was overwhelmed by Northwood (Shreveport, LA), 15-0, in a non-league bout.
