The North DeSoto Griffins baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Winnfield Tigers to 3 in the Griffins non-league win on Monday.
The Griffins now hold a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they host Loyola College Prep for a 4A District 1 test on Tuesday, March 18.
With the defeat, Winnfield drops to 8-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Red River (Coushatta, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A District 3 test on Thursday, March 20. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 13-7. Red River lost 12-8 in their recent non-league test against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA)
