North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), 7-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, North Iredell advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Hickory (Hickory, NC) to battle the Red Tornadoes in a Western Foothills 3A match on Tuesday, March 18. The Red Tornadoes come into the match with a record of 4-3. Hickory lost 3-0 in their recent league match against East Lincoln (Denver, NC)

The Falcons now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A match on Tuesday, March 18. West Rowan will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.
