The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Metamora for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Ottawa will clash with a Redbirds team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Seneca drops to 0-1 on the year. The Fighting irish travel to Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-1. Gardner-South Wilmington lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Putnam County (Granville, IL)
