Virginia High School Soccer - Independence knocks off Colonial Forge

The Independence soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Colonial Forge Eagles to 0 in the non-league victory on Monday.
The now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscarora for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 19. Independence will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Colonial Forge moves to 0-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to North Stafford (Stafford, VA) to play the Wolverines in a Commonwealth bout on Thursday, March 20. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 0-2. North Stafford lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA)
