In Monday's league challenge, the host Carolina Forest Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 triumph over the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs.
The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC). The Sharks go into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, St. James Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC), 7-7, in a non-league challenge.
