In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Turner Ashby Knights softball team scored a nice 17-3 win over the Page County Panthers.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Fort Defiance was routed by Broadway (Broadway, VA), 17-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 18. Page County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
