The Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL), 6-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bessemer City for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Huffman will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Minor (Adamsville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Chelsea moves to 10-3 on the year. The Hornets host Pelham (Pelham, AL) to encounter the Panthers in a 6A Area 8 challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Pelham won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL)
