Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX) and the visiting North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX), saw Pine Tree's soccer squad triumph over North Lamar by a score of 6-0.
The Pirates (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Palestine tipped Madisonville (Madisonville, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Van Vandals (Van, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 21. North Lamar will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Vandals enter the battle with a 14-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Lindale (Lindale, TX).
