The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) softball routed the visiting Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA), 5-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Slaughter Community Charter for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 19. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will encounter a Knights team coming off a 16-11 non-league win over Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Archbishop Hannan moves to 6-8 on the season. The Hawks travel to Loranger (Loranger, LA) to encounter the Wolves in a 4A District 8 outing on Tuesday, March 18. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 12-0. Loranger won 12-2 in their recent league match against St. Scholastica (Covington, LA)
