California High School Softball - Minarets tipped by Avenal

The Minarets Mustangs softball squad (O'Neals, CA), 6-4 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Avenal Buccaneers (Avenal, CA)

With the triumph, Avenal improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Farmersville (Farmersville, CA) to face the Aztecs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 18. The Aztecs enter the contest with a record of 5-0. Farmersville won 17-0 in their recent non-league contest against Riverdale (Riverdale, CA)

The Mustangs now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a Northwest Sequoia- North contest on Thursday, March 20. Minarets will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 24-4 non-league win over Summit Charter Collegiate Academy (Porterville, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-1.
