The Baptist Prep Eagles softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Jessieville Lions to 0 in the Eagles league win on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Arkansas Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. Baptist Prep will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Jessieville moves to 2-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Mayflower (Mayflower, AR) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Region 5 battle on Monday, March 31. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 4-5. Mayflower won 6-1 in their recent league battle against Harmony Grove (Benton, AR)
