In Monday's non-league match, the host Barrington Fillies/Broncos softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Plainfield South Cougars.
The Fillies/Broncos (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Sequoits go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 18. Plainfield South will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans go into the match with a 0-1 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL).
