The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR) and the visiting Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR), observed Cabot's softball team get by Sheridan by a tally of 7-2.

The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bryant (Bryant, AR). The Hornets go into the 6A Central bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Bryant tipped North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR), 8-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, AR) in a 5A South bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Sheridan will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 12-1 league loss to Arkansas (Texarkana, AR).
