The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA) and the host Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA), observed Central Kitsap's softball team prevail over Lakes by a tally of 10-0.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln (Tacoma, WA). The Abes go into the 3A Pierce County bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Lincoln was routed by Peninsula (Gig Harbor, WA), 21-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a 3A Pierce County bout, on Thursday, March 20. Lakes will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 16-14 non-league loss to Capital (Olympia, WA).
