The Martinsville Pirates softball squad (Martinsville, TX), was routed 13-3 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX)

With the triumph, Chireno improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Owls travel to Woden (Woden, TX) to face the Eagles in a 2A Region III District 23 contest on Friday, March 21. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 5-4. Woden won 12-1 in their recent non-league contest against Garrison (Garrison, TX)

The Pirates now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Joaquin for a contest on Friday, March 21. Martinsville will face a Rams squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Timpson (Timpson, TX). The Rams record now stands at 9-3.
