The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) and the visiting St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA), observed Destrehan's softball team prevail over St. James by a tally of 11-1.

The Wildcats (13-5) will now prepare for their bout against Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA). The Trojans go into the 5A District 7 bout with a 10-5 record. In their last bout, Central Lafourche knocked off Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA), 7-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) in a 3A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. St. James will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 20-2 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, LA).
