In Monday's non-league test, the Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) softball squad got by the visiting Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), by a tally of 10-9.
Next, the Tigers meet the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 18. Dunham will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 13-3 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Northshore (Slidell, LA).
The Tornadoes (2-16) will now prepare for their test against Covington (Covington, LA). The Lions go into the 5A District 6 test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Covington held off Pine (Franklinton, LA), 15-2, in a non-league test.
