Washington High School Softball - North Thurston bested by Gig Harbor

The Gig Harbor Tides triumphed over the host North Thurston Rams softball squad by a count of 16-5 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tides play the Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) in a 3A South Sound challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Gig Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Seahawks enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to North Kitsap (Poulsbo, WA).

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Central Kitsap overcame Lincoln (Tacoma, WA), 13-1, in a league challenge.
