Virginia High School Softball - Randolph-Henry succumbs to Halifax County

In Monday's non-league test, the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), by a tally of 18-5.

Next, the Comets clash with the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 21. Halifax County will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 12-0 league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA).

The Statesmen (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
