The Woodland Beavers overwhelmed the host Hoquiam Grizzlies softball squad by a count of 14-8 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Beavers meet the Elma Eagles (Elma, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 19. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 17-3 non-league win over Klahowya (Silverdale, WA).

The Grizzlies (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Black Hills (Tumwater, WA). The Wolves go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Black Hills held off River Ridge (Lacey, WA), 6-5, in a non-league challenge.
