The Sumner Spartans triumphed over the host Mount Si Wildcats baseball squad by a score of 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Seattle for a non-league test on Friday, March 20. Sumner will play a team coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA). The record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Mount Si drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Juanita (Kirkland, WA) to encounter the Ravens in a non-league outing on Friday, March 20. The Ravens enter the outing with a record of 2-1. Juanita won 10-5 in their recent non-league outing against Rogers (Puyallup, WA)
