The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) and the visiting Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA), observed Doyle's softball team notch a victory over Sumner by a tally of 16-1.

The Tigers (6-9) will now prepare for their bout against Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA). The Lumberjacks go into the 3A District 8 bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Bogalusa was routed by Springfield (Springfield, LA), 20-1, in a league contest.

The Cowboys now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Pine for a 3A District 8 contest on Thursday, March 19. Sumner will face a Raiders squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Albany (Albany, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-4.
