The Pacifica Mariners edged the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Mariners meet the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) in a Crestview battle, on Thursday, March 19. Pacifica will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Comanches come into the battle with a 8-3 record after their 13-5 league loss to El Modena (Orange, CA).
With the loss, Roosevelt moves to 7-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Santiago (Corona, CA) to confront the Sharks in a Big VIII battle on Friday, March 20. The Sharks come into the battle with a record of 5-8. Santiago lost 5-3 in their recent non-league outing against Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA)
