The Rye Thunderbolts baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Colorado Springs Christian Lions to 5 in the Thunderbolts non-league victory on Friday.

The Thunderbolts (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO). The Meloneers go into the 2A/1A Santa Fe match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Rocky Ford by Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO), 6-3, in a non-league match.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO). The Scorpions go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record.
