In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Pitkin Tigers baseball team scored a nice 15-2 victory over the Leesville Wampus Cats.
The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Singer (Singer, LA). The Hornets go into the B District 5 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Singer was overwhelmed by Lacassine (Lacassine, LA), 1-0, in a non-league game.
The Wampus Cats (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Bolton (Alexandria, LA). The Bears go into the 4A District 3 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Bolton was overwhelmed by Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA), 17-1, in a non-league game.
