In Friday's non-league game, the host Swansboro Pirates baseball team scored a nice 13-2 victory over the Lejeune Devil Pups.

The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their game against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, South Lenoir ran past Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 12-1, in a league game.

The Devil Pups (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Jones (Trenton, NC). The Trojans go into the Coastal Plains 1A/2A game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Jones ran past Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 8-3, in a non-league game.
