Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Livermore Cowboys (Livermore, CA), 10-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northgate upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Broncos host Acalanes (Lafayette, CA) to battle the Dons in a Diablo- Foothill test on Tuesday, March 22. The Dons come into the test with a record of 4-4. Acalanes won 4-3 in their recent league test against College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA)

With the defeat, Livermore drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to De La Salle (Concord, CA) to encounter the Spartans in a East Bay contest on Monday, March 21. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 6-1. De La Salle won 6-2 in their recent non-league contest against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA)
