Muenster Hornets (Muenster, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their baseball team knock off the visiting Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX), 5-0 in a non-league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Edgewood for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 19. Muenster will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Poolville (Poolville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-4.

Next, the Panthers face the Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, March 22. Paradise will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Alvord (Alvord, TX).
