Arizona High School Volleyball - Highland over Grossmont

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), saw Highland's volleyball squad beat Grossmont by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 14-0 on the year. The Hawks travel to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Friday, March 18. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 2-8. La Costa Canyon won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA)

The Foothillers now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to La Jolla for a non-league bout on Friday, March 18. Grossmont will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Coronado (Coronado, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-12.
