In Friday's non-league battle, the host Rome Wolves soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Darlington Tigers.
The Wolves (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans come into the AAAAAA Region 5 battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, South Paulding nudged Kell (Marietta, GA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Pepperell was overwhelmed by Coosa (Rome, GA), 5-2, in a league battle.
