The Columbus Explorers lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the visiting Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks to 2 in the Explorers non-league win on Friday.
The Explorers (8-3) will now prepare for their match against St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, St. Thomas Aquinas prevailed over Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, FL), 11-10, in a non-league match.
The Mavericks (4-8) will now prepare for their match against St. Brendan (Miami, FL). The Sabres go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, St. Brendan was overwhelmed by Coral Shores (Tavernier, FL), 9-3, in a non-league match.
