In Friday's non-league contest, the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) lacrosse squad edged the host DuPont Manual Crimsons (Louisville, KY), by a count of 13-12.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers confront the McCallie Blue Tornado (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 19. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Blue Tornado come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA).

The Crimsons now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Johns Creek for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 19. DuPont Manual will confront a Gladiators squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over McCallie (Chattanooga, TN). The Gladiators record now stands at 7-2.
