In Friday's league contest, the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) lacrosse squad routed the host Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA), by a count of 26-0.
Coming up next, the Wolverines confront the Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) in a 1A-5A Area 6 contest, on Thursday, March 24. Union Grove will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 13-12 non-league win over Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA).
The Tigers now own a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Eagle's Landing Christian Academy for a 1A-5A Area 6 contest on Monday, March 28.
