In Friday's league battle, the host East Forsyth Broncos soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Gilmer Bobcats.
The Broncos (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Lumpkin County was nudged by North Hall (Gainesville, GA), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Bobcats (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Tigers come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 5-5 record.
