Arizona High School Softball - Cesar Chavez bounces Agua Fria

The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ) and the host Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ), saw Cesar Chavez's softball squad achieve victory over Agua Fria by a count of 15-3.

The Champions now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glendale for a non-league match on Saturday, March 19. Cesar Chavez will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Agua Fria falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Owls travel to La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ) to face the Fighting Lobos in a 5A Desert West match on Friday, March 25. The Fighting Lobos enter the match with a record of 1-7.
