The Albuquerque Academy Chargers softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Shiprock Chieftains to 0 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Albuquerque Academy improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Chargers host Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 19. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a record of 4-3. Los Alamos won 14-0 in their recent non-league game against Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM)

In their next game, the Chieftains clash with the Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 19. Shiprock will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Braves come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).
