North Carolina High School Softball - Pine Lake Prep falls to Anson

March 18, 2022: Wadesboro, NC 28170

In Friday's non-league outing, the host Anson Bearcats softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Pine Lake Prep Pride.

Coming up next, the Bearcats battle the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A outing, on Thursday, March 24. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the outing with a 2-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC).

The Pride (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cannon (Concord, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Cannon was routed by Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 10-3, in a non-league outing.
