In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Safford Bulldogs softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Apache Junction Prospectors.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 19. Safford will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
