Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deep Run for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 23. Atlee will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Dinwiddie falls to 1-1 on the season. The Generals host Nottoway (Nottoway, VA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Monday, March 21. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 0-1. Nottoway lost 10-4 in their recent non-league match against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA)
