The Catawba Ridge Copperheads softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Broome Centurions to 0 in the Copperheads non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Catawba Ridge moves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Copperheads travel to Daniel (Central, SC) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, March 19. The Lions come into the game with a record of 2-1. Daniel won 17-1 in their recent non-league game against Westside (Anderson, SC)

In their next game, the Centurions clash with the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) in a AAA Region 3 game, on Friday, April 1. Broome will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
