The Unaka Rangers softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Knoxville Central Bobcats to 3 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Unaka moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Rangers travel to West Ridge (Blountville, TN) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league game on Monday, March 21. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 1-2. West Ridge lost 6-1 in their recent non-league game against Siegel (Murfreesboro, TN)
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Carter Green Hornets (Strawberry Plains, TN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 19. Knoxville Central will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Green Hornets come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN).
