The Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) softball routed the visiting Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 13-3 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Longhorns (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record.

The Cardinals now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to San Jose for a West Valley bout on Thursday, March 24.
