The Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) baseball trounced the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), 30-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Whippets play the Louisville Wildcats (Louisville, MS) in a 4A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, March 21. Kosciusko will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record.
The Trojans now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Point for a 5A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. New Hope will encounter a Green Wave squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to George County (Lucedale, MS). The Green Wave record now stands at 5-6.
