The Chico Panthers held off the visiting Center Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host McClatchy for a non-league test on Saturday, March 18.
The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Ripon (Ripon, CA). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Ripon held off Davis (Modesto, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
