California High School Volleyball - Elk Grove can't hold off Granite Bay

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Granite Bay Grizzlies volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Elk Grove Thundering Herd.

The Grizzlies (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, St. Mary's was edged by Liberty (Brentwood, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Thundering Herd clash with the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 18. Elk Grove will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Sheldon (Sacramento, CA).
