California High School Volleyball - St. Francis over Newbury Park

The St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) volleyball overcame the host Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 17-5 on the year. The Golden Knights travel to Laguna Blanca (Santa Barbara, CA) to face the Owls in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 18. The Owls go into the outing with a record of 12-0. Laguna Blanca won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Cate (Carpinteria, CA)

The Panthers now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Thousand Oaks for a outing on Wednesday, March 22. Newbury Park will face a Lancers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-12.
