The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals lacrosse team scored 10 points and held the visiting Avon Lake Shoremen to 6 in the Royals non-league win on Saturday.

The Royals (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Green (Uniontown, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.

The Shoremen now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Solon for a Region 2 contest on Tuesday, March 21.
