Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), 14-10 in a non-league battle.
The Mavericks now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Denver North for a 4A North battle on Monday, March 20. Mead will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 23. Palmer Ridge will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 16-14 non-league win over Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO).
