The Spartanburg Vikings lacrosse team scored 15 points and held the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones to 12 in the Vikings non-league win on Saturday.

The Vikings (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Fort Mill nudged Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 12-11, in a non-league match.

The Cyclones (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC). The Highlanders go into the SCISA AAA Region I match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Heathwood Hall Episcopal nudged Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC), 13-4, in a league match.
